职场英语有个特殊之处:说错了没人纠正你。同事和客户都听得懂 I will reply you,会议照开、活照干——只是每一句都在悄悄给你的专业度扣分。而且越是常用的句子,直译味越重,因为它们是从中文工作习惯里逐字搬过来的:「让我做」「跟领导确认」「我的工作很忙」。
下面 12 句来自像话用户的真实练习记录,按三个场景分组:开会讨论、汇报协作、自我介绍和寒暄。每条都是"语法对,但母语者不这么说",配一句话原因。
开会与讨论
- ✗ This plan has some questions. → ✓ There are a few issues with this plan. —— 方案的"毛病"是 issue 或 problem,question 只指提问。
- ✗ Sorry to disturb you, do you have a minute? → ✓ Sorry to bother you — got a minute? —— 口语的打扰是 bother;disturb 太重,像打断了人睡觉。
- ✗ Can you help me see this report? → ✓ Could you take a look at this report? —— 「help me see」是"帮我看看"直译,说 take a look。
- ✗ You must send me the file before 3pm. → ✓ Could you send me the file by 3? —— 对同事说 must 像下命令;请求用 Could you,截止时间用 by。
汇报与协作
- ✗ I will reply you as soon as possible. → ✓ I'll get back to you as soon as I can. —— reply 不能直接接人;回复某人说 get back to you。
- ✗ I will contact with you next week. → ✓ I'll be in touch next week. —— contact 后不加 with,口语里更自然的说法是 be in touch。
- ✗ My boss let me finish it today. → ✓ My boss asked me to finish it today. —— 中文的"让"不等于 let(允许);要求别人做事用 ask。
- ✗ I need to confirm with my leader first. → ✓ Let me check with my manager first. —— 上级是 manager 或 boss;leader 是"领袖",办公室不这么叫。
自我介绍与日常寒暄
- ✗ I'm working in Alibaba. → ✓ I work at Alibaba. —— 在某公司用 at;介绍职业用一般现在时 I work at。
- ✗ Our company has many staffs. → ✓ We've got a pretty big team. —— staff 是集体名词,没有 staffs;口语更常直接说 team。
- ✗ This is my name card. → ✓ Here's my business card. —— 名片是 business card,name card 是中式说法。
- ✗ My work is very busy recently. → ✓ I've been really busy with work lately. —— 忙的是人不是工作,说 busy with work;"最近"用 lately。
怎么练成肌肉记忆
职场句子的特点是复用率极高:get back to you、take a look、be in touch,一天能用上好几次——这也意味着练一句就赚一句。上面中枪的,现在出声读三遍 ✓ 的版本,然后用它造一句明天开会真会说的话,比如 I'll get back to you after the review。
